fabric tears and cuts

Hello all, I'm currently working on a character that im trying to add cuts and tears to the fabric via photoshop nvidia normal map filter. In order to do this i need some photo reference material... does anyone have some links i could find these at? or maybe tutorials on how to create them myself? Any help is appreciated! thanks!

oh yeah, i've searched google like a mad man but couldn't find anything decent. . .
