I'm just now trying to find a career in Gaming Character Graphics. Me and some friends are even creating a video game and I wnated to design the characters on it, but I don't know how. I don't have the ZS and such programs, how could I get them? The best I can do is recolor stuff on the sims and it sucks -_- Heres an example of all the sims could a allow me to do to make Irobashi (and no its not an offical characetr of naruto) : http://i226.photobucket.com/albums/dd88/moon22_album/iromesh3.jpg Bunch of messes for her hair that I recolored. http://i226.photobucket.com/albums/dd88/moon22_album/iromesh2.jpg An outfit I recolored. http://i226.photobucket.com/albums/dd88/moon22_album/iromesh1.jpg Front view of Irobashi.

Noticed the green outlined crappy circles, I couldn't place the head band around the neck so I had to put it on the belt suckish right? For the red outline, I couldn't put nets on her it just wouldn't show I'm pretty bad for a newbee mesher. For the yellow outline, I couldn't put the little case that ninja of Naruto wear on their thighs. The black outline shows the black gloves that were supposed to be there. And the blue outline is for the black ninja shoes that were also supposed to be there. Does no good if her features are invisble v_v. Can anybody help me out please?

whats "the ZS and such programs"?

Yeah recolouring stuff for the sims isnt great, have you tried making any 3D yourself yet? Have you looked for free or cheap software that might be useful to beginners? for example blender, xsi mod tool, silo, 3d coat etc?

sorry my reply was so late and no I haven't, I'm saving up for some animation programs though. If and when I made 3-D stuff I could make them into animations awesome right?

Well most 3d modeling software comes with animation functions. As for now I would say that if you can't do 3d modeling how that you should try getting into it and understand whats needed, or buy whatever you were planning and get it fast, or take time to improve on your artwork and get a well planned out mindset of what your getting yourself into.

Blender is free and is quite versatile in terms of 3d modeling and animation. That's one place you could start. :D
