Welcome to the boards BuroKun, learning new software can be an uneasy experience and doing little exorcises like this can make things much smoother. Good luck with Zbrush and keep us posted.:)
Welcome to the forums. Always nice to see a new face around here :)
ZBrush is a really nice piece of software (despite the fact that I can frequently be found saying otherwise). You've no doubt found the interface a bit daunting at a first glance. If not, well more power to you :) Either way, it seems you've gotten past any initial hurdles as this is a pretty nice first sculpt :)
Do you have any previous experience doing digital sculpting in other software? My first try looked like upper crap, and in comparison yours is a true masterpiece.

@Marcus Dublin & East - Thank you.

Not sculpting, but I have been using Max9 for a good while now. I have been doing everything old school, but I wanted to give zbrush a go. I know I need to be able to do some nice next-gen work if I want a job.

I never noticed.....
While ZBrush 3.1 is a really lovely and superb tool, it's also one big piece of shit.

wow. that's amazing for ur 'first' sculpt! so how many other 'first' sculpts have u done?
lol, j/k. its looking really nice. just add some noise to the surface, and i have nothing else to say!
amazing.
oh and welcome to the boards
Yeah, the problem I'm mostly having with ZBrush is how crash prone it is. At one time I lost a whole hour of modeling, and there are times when you can (way too easily) mess up with the masking so that it crashes if you as much as glance in the general sideways direction of the peripheral shadow of ZBrush.
So, I now have a timer set which makes a very, very subtle buzz which doesn't annoy, but reminds me every 5 minutes to save, which I do easily and unobtrusively by using the QuickSave Plugin (http://www.zbrushcentral.com/zbc/showthread.php?t=46610) buttons.
I still say ZBrush is a big piece of stinking shit. Although I still love it, and use it extensively..:think:

@indian_boy - Thank you.
@East - lol.....I will keep that in mind.
So what tools/brushes were you using when sculpting this? Found any favourites yet? You don't seem to have started overusing the flatten brush yet. It seems like a phase everyone goes through at one point or another ;)

@East - I just used the standard, smooth, and tweak brushes.
