Hi guys, i've been a member of these forums since the dominance war, but haven't been active at all so first off: hi! :D
i've been working on this character for the last couple of weeks (been taking a long break to study highpoly car modeling too :P) and here is what i've got so far:

Here you can see the wireframe view (before moving up the arms and a little bit of tweaking)

you can view the progress of this character here:

and here is the character discription:

crits and comments(especially on the texture) are most welcome! thanks in advance!

Hi Japhir

This is looking pretty solid so far! The topology from the wire frame you shared looks great!

I'm assuming your still working on the texture, correct? I think you have a pretty decent grasp on human anatomy, however there are a few areas that seem to be a bit un-realistic (i'm also assuming you are going for realism). Grab an anatomy book and check out some of the examples of how the muscles wrap around to the backs of a human's legs. The muscles around the spine just below his trapezius also seem a bit odd, the forearm might need a quick adjustment as well. Also, the muscles just below the pectoralis major, the serratus anterior, seems to be quite large. Other than that, there isn't much else to say about the texture, since it mainly consists of musculature.

Just double check on some of your muscle placement with the help of some anatomy reference.

Can't wait to see where this goes, and I hope this helps. :thumb: Keep it up!

thanks a lot! off course the texture is still wip, when i have all the basic lighting and all the muscles well defined i'll add stuff like wrinkles etc too, so a long way to go. i studied the some anatomy reference here: http://www.anatomyatlases.org/atlasofanatomy/index.shtml and drew the guidelines on my texture map. before adjusting the actual texture to match these guides i'd like some crits on them :D

(i added a grey texture underneath the guides so that they are better visable)

thanks again!

Hey nice job there!

I think the anatomy looks a lot better, much more solid.

Keep it up!

I think the top colored version is shaping up really nicely. I read what you said so far, but you didn't mention whether you will continue to add stuff to him? Or, will you simply leave him in his tight suit only? This aside, now that you have got his muscles in, yeah, some work in making him look rubbery will be cool. Folds, wrinkles, zippers, buckles and such would be cool

Regardless, nice work so far man. Looking forward to an update.
