if not, some Info:

Itachi is Someone who killed his whole Clan (Uchiha Clan = specific: Sharingan Eyes).
He killed everyone in his clan to measure his capabilities but left his small brother alive. He letted him Suffering.

He uses the animal Raven. He act's the same way: Not Saying much, Has a Lost face look, no emotions at all. He's fast as he uses FireAttacks.

He has a decent body, Well trained older Teenager body. Means he isnt buffed but also not a weakling.

I can't remember where I've read up to in the comics before I stopped (due to money matters as I was studying at that moment). And I haven't even read to the part he appeared. Which is sad by the way... I also caught a few glimpses of the anime on tv but i was too busy working to catch up with it. Sigh

This competition has made me wanting to continue the series!

kakashisma - My version of Itachi is nothing special, I'm keeping the way he is but making him more realistic than cartoon. Might add something else later on but we'll see... :)

Interesting way of blocking things out. Still too early to really form much of an opinion on, though the eyes do look to big if you're going for a realistic look

Chasarsis : I was using the reference from the comics, his eyes does look big in there. I guess I got a little mixed up with what I am aiming for.:brick:

Now that I look at it again today, I think I need to reconsider the design of this guy. He hides too much that there's nothing interesting to look at as pointed out by a friend which I agree. Back to the drawing board then.:think:

Did a bit of quick sketch of what I had in mind.

Changed his hair and cloak so that his hair and inner clothes are visible.
I kinda like the first design now.

My big problem is that he's incredibly simple. Flat, almost wrinkle free coat with no extra detail doesn't exactly make for impressive game art. Add some detail, and break up his silhouette a bit.

I agree v SupRore, add some interesting elements or u could even redesign the coat tat still cover most part of the body? Below is a ref i found very interesting v many focus point, if i were to do Sasuke i might pose him in tis way :lucky:

That's the thing with the Naruto characters. They all have cool designs, but they're all fairly simple as well, so you have a lot of leeway as to what you want to do in filling and breaking up that silhouette

The 2 lines foloring down from the eyes to the bottom.


Uhm, the sketches look pretty cool although it can turn out to a winner if you will do the whole body as the coat as a mesh. wich means you cant get the coat off on him.

Hunter got a nice Itachi done a few months/years ago. If you would ask him to show it he would probably do.

Here's an update
This is what I ended up with.
Itachi with his coat on and Itachi after taking off his coat. Still pretty simple :uhh: Any other changes will be done during modeling stage.

Details will be added to the sandals, arm and belt might differ, thinking of changing but should start modeling by now.

Hey its getting better n better, likes the col combination!
Perhaps u can add some metal plates on the wrist or hand n the belt as well to differs the full body cloth material :think:

Alright... a little update, still a long way to go.
First time using Zbrush, trying to get used to it.
Right now I did a base model for him.
I will try and add more details of the cloth crease later on then only would I import it into Zbrush.

A little update.
First time using zbrush, I'm liking it more and more but I need more practise. :uhh:
Ignored the hair, will do it in photoshop, much easier.
Will tweak the rest of the stuffs in Maya and Photoshop.
Starting texture soon since there's not much time left

Not much of an update :o
Snapshot from Maya's high quality preview, still having problem with normals being too hard when rendered. Will fix it later.
Right now only at 4830 tris.

It's just normal map with flat colors. Was fixing normal maps and occlusion those last few days. Painted a little on the face and added some transparency on the hair for a feel of it. Still a long way to go... :cry:

But weekend is coming! Yeah!!
