I'm taking it that Eastern Time is the East Coast of America? If that's right then here in Ireland I have till tuesday morning as we're ahead in time here.

I have the same problem with local time .... i am gmt +2 and taking into account what has been said above i can upload my entry when the clock at this address http://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/city.html?n=188 ticks 11.59pm (my local time will be around 7am tuesdey) and i will still be on time... now the local time for me will indicate sooner 11.59 so the counter will reach zero before 11.59 GMT-5 for me... the question is ... will i be able to upload the images after the counter reached zero in my personal entry page... i mean will the form let me upload my entry or when the counter reaches zero that's the end?

I worked almost three weeks for this contest and damn ... i do not want to miss it ... i'm not finished yet and had some personal problems this week that slowed me down ... these 7 hours might make a difference for me now ...

Ignore the counter on your entry page, it's only an approximate time. You have until 11:59 sharp to submit your entries.

I should mention, be careful with your thumbnails. Remember that they need to be approved. So if you submit your thumbnail at the last second, you might get stuck with an old thumbnail for your finals;)

Yes, i guess. :) Counter has deceived me approximately on 30 hours.

I think in the future would be better to use GMT =)

Kenny-bsp, do a search for time display on google. I am sure you can find a clock that shows you what time it is for eastern time.
