Just managed to finally edit the last photo shoot I did before leaving Iceland.

http://mr-chompers.blogspot.com/2009/03/karolina.html Quick write up of the shoot.

Nice work, ben. Nice simple colors and contrast in these - cool setting.

BTW, your presence was requested in this thread (http://www.gameartisans.org/forums/showthread.php?t=7429) a little while back. :)

I love the breakdown showing everything you did.

Nice shots. I like the symmetry and when you break it. Decent enough retouching. My only real critiques are:

- The erasure of the wet tracks in the empty plate isn't 100%. It's something I actually noticed before the animated GIF.
- In the 2nd pic, the white point on your subject is coming in a little too hot.
- I don't know if it's your camera, the lay of the land, or the PS correction of background plate, but I think I see some barrel distortion still going on at the edges. I think that a higher focal length earlier on could've saved you some post work.
- The compositing could probably still be tweaked some. Artifacts from the masking process are still apparent. (Some quite hard, actually.)

Maybe it's just me. :p
