hey grey, i like where your style is heading, i have a few tips to help you proceed faster if you dont mind receiving crit. now the image that strikes me as my possible favourite is the man holding the woman, now the woman looks great but need colour variation to bring her foward as she seems to be blending in with the background changing her skin tones will give you good opportunity also to make the light hitting her alot stronger. As for the male he seems too forced as if all his muscles ar tense when hes only holding a woman, if you relax his muscles he'd look more natural, i can tell this is how you paint alot of your males, he has very "manga" like body but i can see you want to paint realistic, its alot more interesting if the character was original, always use references for all your characters, i like to use swimmers as they have really interesting body types. hope i helped. good luck

Great work Grey :thumb: You have a ton of really nice qualities in your art. I really love the color combos that your are coming up with, they are very striking. Additionally, you have some wonderful ideas for costuming and patterns which can be very exciting.

Keep working on your anatomy. I think one of my favorites is the man holding the woman, but it does look really weird anatomy wise. The lower body of the man looks like he is squashed with tiny legs under his robes. There are great refs for this kind of a pose as well that can help you with the arms, like grocery store romance novels (terrible I know, but whatever it takes to get the job done ya?)

The last thing I have noticed is that your female faces are all pretty masculine. This can be really interesting if it is intentional, but it cant hurt to try to make a feminine one. The jawlines are too square and the mouth areas seem a bit too rigid as well. I can understand if you were simply going for strong, but it is something to keep in mind.

Keep posting your work, I am enjoying looking at it :approve:

Anyway, tell me your thoughts :)

I really like the concept and where the Dance is going. GREAT!

She looks a little dead though.. I don't know if that is part of the story or not?
Maybe plant her leg a bit more firmly on the ground... which might add more to her earth character. The arm closest to the viewer feels off... especially the wrist and hand, it would be nice to see that arm have an emotion.. an intent???

Wonderful idea! I really hope you keep at it and bring this beauty to life!

Here's an update, not sure about the contrast, maybe to high, like the "sunny sun" effect though...let's see how it goes, let me know what you think and cheers!
