There's something about your style of sculpting that brings real clay to mind. Very eye-catching :)
poop, I believe it is Cyclops. File is named scott_s, which probably is Scott "Cyclops" Summers ;)

Your Wolverine + Spawn (or black spiderman) is sweet!
Would you recomend learning z-brush or mud box first?

Actually, I think that it's Wolverine/Venom. It looks like something based off of some Marvel "New Avengers" promo art by Leinil Yu.

Mudbox has a more traditional interface, if that's any help. ZB3 can push more polys (afaik) and the new GUI is much improved, but the learning curve is not as small as Mudbox. You can't go wrong either way. I use Silo2 for sculpting, but that's just me. :p

The 3D models look Very good.

I personally prefer mudbox for sculpting, its a pure sculpting tool thats allot more lightweight then zbrush which helps in overall performance. Ultimately its all up to which of the two you find more comfortable to use, so I suggest downloading trial versions of zbbrush and mudbox and try them out.
also ben, nice stuff! I cant wait to see a full body model from you
