Hi guys, I hope you can help. Sorry if this is in the wrong place but I couldn't work out how to post in the employment sections.
I currently have a team of around 4 people helping to work on a 2D point and click adventure game I'm planning to eventually release commercially (a long way off yet though). I have a background artist but he's currently to busy at the moment with uni etc to make backgrounds for a few months.
What I need is an additional background artists/artists that can create 5 - 10 backgrounds for the game in 1024 x 768 in 16 bit colour.
The only problem is we need them to literally replicate (but with a little extra texture etc would be nice) the style of the below backgrounds.

This project is self funded atm so I cannot pay a huge amount. I was thinking 10-20 per background and maybe a little more for longer works. We also require a quick test background to be done if possible before proper work starts (will also be paid for this if it is of high standard) as we have had a few people starting to make us things and it doesn't look the same as the artwork we already have.
There is no real strict time limit to this as the game production is in it's early stages.
The game is set in a fantasy world with hints of satire and some comedy. The main character Malakey is reluctantly pushed into the role of setting out on a crusade to become a hero so that he can prevent the corruption of the land. Sounds a bit cliche but I'd be giving the story away if I went into more detail now lol.
