quite a bit of optimizing to do, but I am sure you already know this.
Looks like it is shaping up very well. It's still early though, so offering crits of any kind is not very helpful.
good luck. Looking forward to seeing more!

make sure you leave a few poly's for some alpha mapped bugs.
and, will you be texturing your model to match the concept, or are you going in a different direction?

I'm going to try & match the concept. Coffee was still finalizing her concepts though... so, a lot of bouncing to & fro at that moment..
Now we have something solid & startiing to mash this out :p

Getting close to the concept.. Need to combine those polies & throw a llattice on and get the shape just right :p
And I'll need to save a few polies for your bugs BigToe ;p

Nice, I love the styling in the concept! :D
If possible, you might want to tone down the spec, or reflectivity on it, and ask Fred to resubmit those parts; it just looks really, really high. Like he's sweating profusely.

I agreed too, too shiney @. @
I was working on the spec & reflectivity yesterday til 11:30~
decided then to make renders and slap somethign together to
make the dead line :d
I still wanted to do alot more...
it'll be another model to add to my long list of things to get "finished"~
Ah well at the least you finished it with a good looking model! You captured Shino's look well enough though I think the face could have turned out better. Still congrats on finishing. :thumb:
