Try it out if you missed the boat or do it again just because:
Test Color IQ (http://www.xrite.com/custom_page.aspx?PageID=77)

I was off on the teal colors but they are washed out so I blame the test  .

I was really worried that I wouldn't do well, haha. I did the same, but my worst area is yellow-greens. I know I had a tile there that I just couldn't fit in.

I felt I could do better and did it again. This time I got Perfect. I had more experience sliding and comparing tiles.

The best I did was like 695 when I actually tried, lol. I don't have the attention span to finish, plus I start getting a headache and all the colors start blending in with each other than I can't separate them at all! ~ True story

I recall taking this test about 6-9 months ago and getting a perfect score. It's not that hard really.

1) It depends on the quality & clarity of your monitor. I've got a really clear & bright 22" LCD.
2) Some of the tougher choices can be made by simple comparison. Testing the colors out to see how they look next to their predecessors/successors.

Beyond that, it's a cute test. I think that it only tests one type of color perception though.

if you monitor is not up to snuff, then this test isn't going to do you any good... fun idea though.

My monitor's colors are not very rich.

I did this test a couple of months back on my old monitor, which is all kinds of jacked up, and got a 4.

Out of curiosity, I took it again today on my brand spanking new one, and got a perfect, and it didn't take me as long.

In summation, if your monitor isn't up to snuff, you are gonna have a harder time with it ( and I remember that headache).

Well then, I am at least glad my monitor passes the monitor hue display test.

I knew there was a reason I hung on to that p.o.s. CRT monitor.

I fully agree that is seems a better test for the monitor than the eye. First time I took this I used just my 22 inch LCD and got a 14 or something like that. Tried it again, this time using both my 22 inch LCD and my 19 inch CRT and got a perfect 0.
