I've always loved photography, but recently I got into it even more hardcore. I'm betting a lot of GAers are into it as well, so this should be a fun thread.

First, list your gear, second, a link to your pictures page (flickr, your site, etc), third, post one (ONLY ONE, or I'll ban you :p ) picture you really like that you've taken.

Gear:
Canon 40d
17-40mm f/4 L
70-200mm f/4L
Nodal Ninja panoramic tripod head
Panasonic DMC LX2 (point/shoot camera, all my website photos were taken with this)

I'm strictly a hobbyist photographer. Touristy stuff and such. I'm much more into video nowadays.

Gear:

Canon Elph SD10 4.1MP - Had it for 3 years. Really envious of my younger brother's 18.6MP Pentax :p He's a director of photography though. Mine has a nasty barrel distortion with closeup shots and some questionable low light performance. LONG overdue an upgrade. :)
JVC Everio GZMG555 digital camcorder (http://camcorder.jvc.com/product.jsp?modelId=MODL027858&pathId=119&page=10) - 30GB Hard Drive, 7hr-38hr recording capacity, 16:9 widescreen, etc... Very nice cam for the $900. Would've liked the hi-def version, but $2k is a bit more than I'm willing to spend.
A couple of Kenko adjustment rings for telescopic & wide angle (Gotta check the specs on my lenses. Too lazy to walk across the room & check. :p)
Basic $80 Sunpak 75" tripod with fluid pan head

Again, no real hardcore stuff. I mostly use my still camera for simple refs. Been using my video camera for videomatics on my short film.

Just some basic shot using the old Canon. Like I said, I'm not a pro photographer so my composition is pretty iffy, which I suppose matches my camera quality. ;) Still, here are a handful of probably 1,000+ images sitting on my hard drives. I'll upload some more as time permits.

BTW, really nice pics of Iceland, Ben. Huge difference from what I'm used to seeing here in NYC. My "Bronx Zoo" pics were actually taken 2 blocks from my apartment. (You'd never know though. Such a big zoo, yet so well hidden.)

Ah, Iceland, so many cool places and things over there :) Nice photos Poop :)

Like Cookepus, I'm more of a hobbyist and reference photographer. I take photos of different kinds of textures, shapes, things and so on.. I got some background experience, but nothing too serious.

Equipment, Nikon D50, 28-80mmD thingie and 20 euros tripod, sturdy enough and can be carried like a machinegun, woo. (Very important factor while choosing tripod)

I just started a mobilepicture-blog thing myself. Sure the quality is not as fancy as yours is but still. I like the whole community around it :)
