I'm not sure who here is a Radio head fan but some crazy news about the band selling there album online for whatever price you decide: http://www.boingboing.net/2007/09/30/radiohead-lets-fans.html I love Radio head and will definitely purchase the album but I wonder how this will play out in the marketplace. I guess you can consider this the ultimate fan service, who knows.:)

This is the sort of thing that makes me think the world isn't a synical old place at times. guided by profit...
Radioheads offer may seem strange and Im sure alot of people are thinking "well everyone will just pay $0.01 for the album" but thats probably not the case...
I think you'll see a rare thing where people pay a fair price for a product, Im sure alot of people will pay $5-10 for a radiohead album without batting an eyelid, just cause human nature makes us guilty for taking somehting of worth for free. I think they'll make about the same money they would from putting it up at a set price.
It's a great idea though :) makes people feel important and thus they will act fairly...

Yeah I was having a conversation with a friend of mine about the pricing structure as well and we both agreed it would be worth spending a few bucks on. I personally have no problem paying $10 for the album, I've been listening to Radio Head since high school and there music has consistently brought me more hours of enjoyment than I can remember. While I'm not holding my breath I really hope this sort of thing catches on with more established artists. Good stuff all around!:)
