This one been on hold for quite some time. Now, I finally started to work on my portfolio, as an environment artist wannabe, I think its time to finish it :) Basically it was a pet project of mine, several months ago, visually inspired by "Seed", and there is not much to show right now. Just a few forks and that gate.. arch.. thing.. whatever =) I've got a few ideas about future additions to this scene, and hopefully next week I'll start to implement them (just too busy with current job).

This is not cel-shading of course. Just handpainted textures, with some smart mesh cloning, face inverting. Works perfectly realtime. All textures are 100% self illuminated, so light is baked.

Any comments, suggestions, crits are always appreciated :)

Very nice looking :) What I'd like to see in the track is more color, be it grey, white or black. Mainly something the walls would need in my opinion, areas of one somewhat more contrasting color.

And the second thing is more details on the track sides (the areas where the lightblue track isn't in). Ie some random stuff, dunno what would fit in though.. :)

Deto, thanks.

Track sides are completely untouched atm and it's #1 on my todo list. Color scheme will remain the same, but I'm planning to add small props here and there, like crates, barrels, signs, etc.. that should bring some life.

Also, think of it as a some sort of service tunnels inside big technological structure. The whole track isn't going to be a long tunnel, these are just small parts. I guess there will be at least two or three large sections, still indoor, but much more openspaced (is that a word? :))

Yeah, those definately (I hate the word) will give even more life to it :)

I see :) Yeah I think openspace is a word, or at least people use it... dunno if its open-space though. err... no idea really. But I get what you mean, large halls :D
