I'm opening up my game with the initial concept sketch and first WIP image. And yes I'm totally showing off my perspective lines.

I'll try to follow up with more, and remember to add the team colors/logo.

*shiver* more coffee, please.

Thanks for taking a look!

*wipes sweat from brow*

Okay, finally continuing the challenge. Here's a few more WIP images. The last one jumps over a painfull trial and error phase which I will include later to the progress sheet. I think.

Peace, out!

Cool angle

I don't know if you can use car's and stuff. No characters but there is nothing about vehicles. Maybe I should ask soon..

About the design; maybe you should create more of a eyecatcher.
Still. Keep it up, your on a good track

Thanks for the feedback, Absorber!!

I am especially happy to get feedback on the angle since the stupid perspective lines have given my eyes and brain a lot pain.

*scratches head*

And I so know I'm pushing the rules on many levels... But I hope I can get away with the car being there (will flip it eventually) for the level will be a driving challenge to escape the blackhole and reach the escape pods in time.

Thanks again and happy painting!

Hi Samhell, I think you won't be having any problems with the car. Here's the caption from the rule page. "Vehicles (not robots or mechanical character-based forms) may be included in your scene. " Actually that was posted on the "3D guidelines". This one is from the 2d guidlines, "No Characters, animals, aliens, or robots, can be shown in your scene. No monsters, no elves, no robots, no smurfs, etc. Statues: Statues made of stone and metal are allowed, but they must possess extremely minimal details." So I dont think you'll be having any problems there. Keep'em posting=)

Samhell: This is not allowed: ...No Characters, animals, aliens, or robots, can be shown in your scene. No monsters, no elves, no robots, no smurfs, etc. Statues: Statues made of stone and metal are allowed, but they must possess extremely minimal details..., so vehicles are OK! Your entry is coming along nicely. More.....

This is it for me for today. Feeling very happy and confident about the progress. Tomorrow, more destruction... and finishing the ceiling of the city.

Thank you for taking a look!

Oh my, I think I see a light at the end of the tunnel... and I don't think it's the freight train.

You know about the extension? Just in case you missed the info, here is the link:

http://www.gameartisans.org/forums/s...ad.php?t=11255

Your entry needs some touch by human "sloppy life". Right now everything seems very clean and proper..... Good Luck with your work!

Thanks for the info! The extension gives me enough time to properly focus on delivering the modelling sheet. Office life has been such a hell for the past weeks, so the extension really saved my day.

Aaaah, weekend. :-)

p.s. *cough* Amethyst, would you believe the cleanness is actually planned?

hmmm..... that's a thought to ponder upon. I was actually wondering about the road on the far right how it was being sucked in but in a very clean and ordely fashion. A vacuum from space that uses mathematical equations to cause destruction and chaos throughout the universe.....but in an orderly manner=) I like it=) But I still have to suggest bigger chunks in some parts. Just so the viewer can understand that it is being destroyed.=)
