Digital Sculpting Mini: FINAL TRIBUTE
 A fan based competition presented by GA.ORG Theme: FINAL TRIBUTE It's here, FINAL FANTASY XIII, So lets celebrate this epic gem with a tribute to the series. The goal of this mini is to create a bust (head and shoulders) of any PRE Final Fantasy XIII Character of your choice. While you are only required to create the head and shoulders of the character, you may create a full body sculpt as well. And for the first time EVER, Polypainting and Texturing IS ALLOWED. So go crazy and make something awesome! The Details: -For this mini you may create your own base mesh in 3d or in Zspheres, etc. -All polypainting/texturing MUST be displayed directly on your highpoly, NO lowpoly/normal maps. -You are NOT restricted to only using sculpting tools (you can use 3d max/maya's tools if need be for pieces--just keep it high res). -Base, background are optional It's strongly strongly STRONGLY encouraged that you post progress images as replies this thread. We're not forcing everyone to yet, but half of the point of these minis are to help build up the community. If you're posting last minute without at least saying hello, then you're missing all the fun! Stop lurking! Please do not make a new thread for your entry. Keep all w.i.p shots in this specific thread. Final Submission: Submit one image, 1000x1000 pixels or less. This image should include your final product, and any preliminary work (sketches) you wish to show (optional). Behemoth King
I have all ready chosen my Character the Behemoth/Behemoth King from Final Fantasy XII and all the other Final Fantasys that have a Behemoth in it to. The Behemoth has been the cause of many "game over" screens. This monstrosity with purple fur and big black horns can attack physically and magically with equal ferocity. If that wasn't enough, if there's a Behemoth, there's often a more powerful version near the end of the game called the King Behemoth. Being a giant lord of darkness, fashioned by the gods during the creation of heaven and earth. Its muscles are hard as steel, and its bones are made of bronze. Originally appearing as a great ox, the souls of the many warriors it killed in battle have altered its form forever. This diet of death has added to it skill in combat withal, as it draws strength and knowledge from the warrior-souls imprisoned within its veins.

Will it be the usual 'our own spin' on the characters or standard sculpt.

There's a very good chance that I experienced MORE problems, then all the internet put together in the area of 3D and Design, and I'm inventing more of them as time passes; also good chance no one is able to solve them. Talk about being original for once...

 zomg I wanna do this Never done polypainting before. It'll be nice to give it a shot: I think I'm gonna do Judge of Wings, till I change my mind:  I need more Fully Armoured dudes in my portfolio

I guess this is a decent excuse to do a 4 or 6 character. The other games where bleh compared to those two. So here is a list of character I need to ween down.
Ultimos the octopus Edgar Figarro Cid of Final Fantasy 4 Kain Highwind Cyan Ultima Weapon monster Golbez or Dark Cecil with helmut removed.
