Guys, you have worked so hard on this and it shows! I know I keep saying that, but only because it's true.

I'd agreee with C as well, and have one tiiiiny suggestion. You might go ahead and put one of the glow particles in the lighthouse to simulate the flame being ready. Not big, just a little hint that it's in standby mode, ready to bring it's light at the full onset of darkness.

Question Need Feeback on Cameras for Final 2 Beauty Shots
Thanks to everyone for all the feedback on the water fog settings. Glad it was a straight sweep for version C. That was my favorite.

Need to call on the forum again for some opinions and suggestions on the final 2 camera shots. Some of these are missing parts since I optimized the file for the main camera, but you can get a good idea of what I was going for and everything will be put back in if that shot is used as one of the final two. Thanks!

- Skyme

I'd say I'm leaning towards B. and F. even though my Fishery is a no show in that one, It's still has really nice composition and the lamps really shine in that one.

I like B and C. F is also good but what are those rows of translucent squares? Is that alpha bleed or a rendering issue?
Other than that, it looks great! good luck!

Here is our Final Entry
Sorry I didn't get to reply sooner. Thank you, thank you everyone for the feedback on the cameras! Been rendering and tweaking till I just submitted our final entry a few minutes ago. Can't wait to look around now and see what everyone else's submissions look like. That was a great contest. Thank you Fred H and all the sponsors for making it possible. Now I'm going to sleep for a long time. Good luck to everyone in the finals.

Very, very nice final submission guys! This really came together well, and the hard work has paid off. Awesome job following through to the bitter end, the tweaks and love really show. Once you wake up, go hoist a pint!

You really nailed the water in your finals. It's not distracting at all now. Very well done. Presentation, lighting, effects, textures and modeling, they all look great! You should all pat yourselves in the back when you wake up and recover from this difficult ordeal

good job guys! glad you stuck it out and finished. I really like the final color scheme definitely looks like a "good" place to hang out =). I can picture many npc's and shopkeepers wandering around, maybe a kid chasing a dog haha.

TooperDon - Thanks very much for your regular comments and crits! You really are the trooper.

FredH - Thanks for the great comments. The water was even more challenging than I was expecting. It was your previous post that really motivated me to push it further and for that I owe you a big thanks.

BluPanda - Thanks! I would love to see some RPG style characters in our level.

Jessart - Thanks for the comments. Good to hear from you. Your website looks really good btw.

Twindragon - Thank you very much for all of your great comments and crits. Sorry you weren't able to finish. Your scene was looking really good. I'm hoping that you'll still finish it some day to put on your portfolio.

Corrosion - Thanks! All 3 of us are big into RPG's, so it's great to hear that our entry has that feel to it.

onelung - Can't say enough for your very honest feedback and comments. They were a huge help in not letting us get too lax in work and really push us to make the scene the best we could. Thanks again my friend!

Udell_I - Thanks for the comments! I really enjoyed watching your team's entry develop. Great work.

And just big over all thanks to everyone else who posted on our thread. Can't tell you how cool it is to get such a wide range of views on your work. This was a great contest! So many talented people who really have a sense of community. Nice to be able to help each other even when we are all in theory competitors. I would like to thank my teammates bpanting and minestorm. You guys did the best work of your 3D careers on this one. It was really great to work with you guys on this one. My hat is off to you both. One last giant thanks to FredH and the sponsors for making this possible. Hope to see everyone back for next year's challenge.
