Gochillis has entered the competition!

SO, i have been working on this challenge since the second week, but i have held off on posting until now. I didn't want to enter into an other contest and not follow through. I am at a point now where I really think I'll be able to finish. All I really want is a crazybump license; greatest program ever made!

This is a solo effort. I have kept track of all my progress. So I'm going to post a ton of updates all at once, keep in mind this is about two weeks of work...

I want everyone to know what my goal for this project is. I'm focusing on basic modeling and hand painted textures. No photo-source here! I am also using normal maps and specular maps sparingly. As of right now I'm not using any normals or spec. My over all idea behind this project is "talent over technology." I'm taking it back to basics... ...an artist and a canvas.

I love the props...Do you use a light and bake onto texture?....( I refer only to props)
