Dominance War IV - 3D - lox409 - Maahes

I am creating a Machine. His name is Egyptian and means "he who is true beside her".
For speed he travels as a quadruped and for assault a biped.

JakeLV426 : The animated GIF doesn't really work the way I want it to. There are poses that are not in motion, which doesn't make sense. But here it is anyways. Maybe I will have some animation later since I plan on rigging it.


darthrith : Yes, energy blasts from the paws is the idea for biped mode.


I went back to pen and paper and did some thumbnails to stay loose. I am working on a perspective view at the moment.

Here is the latest update. I want the armor to look more organic. I'll probably do more sketching before colors.

Awesome concept. I definitely like the first sketch with the rounder armor designs a lot. I'd say move in that direction for sure.

I love the design of the armor. Hmmm some how I feel it is missing something. Cool accessories and weapons maybe?

Xero: He is actually a big cat. Although, he does have bear like proportions . As for weapons He has his Palm Cannon and the 4 circles on top will be holding projectiles. Maybe he will have actual hands. I kinda like the idea of paws for now.

I just blocked out the shapes and created a quick rig to make sure everything will move correctly. I thought I could get away without an extra joint at the bottom of the 2 front legs but it looks like I will need to add an extra joint. So it will be like a real cat.

This guy looks really awsome! I really like the proportions.

I only have one thing to suggest. Maybe its just me but the fangs don't seem to fit the rest of the beast. Have you tried any other sort of teeth? maybe something like the james bond villian Jaws.

Mutty6: thanks, I think I will take the teeth out upon further examining them. A friend suggested he have just a face mask. I am undecided atm.

I got most of him there but I got to go back and correct some topology. Some things aren't moving correctly.
