Thanks Death Smiles. I'm now trying to decide on proportions and style and im trapped between the following three. I think if I go for the last one then I still want to emphasize the muscles realistically but proportionally give the character a large chest and smaller legs.

Yeah, 1st or 3rd images will work wonders. 2nd ones reminds me of Jon Jeremy...

LMAO Ron Jeremy, nice. I've always liked the ass-kicking-rip-your-arm-out-of-the-socket-and-beat-you-with-it Lobo. So, personally I would go with 1.

Ooops, I meant Ron Jeremy, yeah...

Also, I was going on the images again, and I think you should really go with 1, but apply the extra 'gear' from 3rd image, such as the over-sized belt and knee-caps.

Thanks for the suggestions guys.

Heres the base mesh for the sculpt so far (i'll be doing a new mesh for the actual low poly).

Im still trying to nail the proportions as I want the upper body to be the focus with the legs still looking very capable.

Update: Ive started working on the proportions and bulk in Zbrush. Still very early in the sculpt as I want to make sure theres a lot of asymmetry in the face (as he has some crazy expressions) and plenty of detail in the body.

Hey NiGHTS2o06, I have a few suggestions regarding your characters head. Hopefully you're able to take something away from the reference sheet and notes. Good luck with the next pass!

Cool
Kickass character! Lobo is one my favorite characters....he rock´s literaly! Why don´t you look for the Simon Bisley´s drawings and sketches...i think he´s the best artist that brings this crazy dude to life
Looking foward gladly to watch your progress...nice modeling, but i think his cheek needs to get more proeminent and the jaw with a little more brute look... is the lobo´s landmark. Anyway it looks awesome!

Thanks for the feedback guys. Ive gone back into the face and attempted to change a few of the proportions as well as adding detail into the body. Im still defining the muscle but i'm now deciding how much more detail to go into regarding the body before I start to work on the clothes and accessories.

wow, you've got some freaky head ref there. I almost chose this character, actually. I'm interested to see how you handle things like the hair and gear. Good luck!

Thanks guys, and thanks for the reference pics Styx, they have come in helpful regarding the final design choice for this character which is as follows:

I didn't want to go overkill in terms of accessories so ive tried to keep it quite simple. However, ive added a superman killing knife in there for good measure...

Alright guys, I think im ready to move onto the low poly.

I don't want to keep adding accessories just for the sake of adding filler detail and I think right now the current attire balances out the character quite well.

P.S - I've just remembered that I need to work on the chain on the arm that I completely forgot about. So ill update this post once Ive finished it.
