I found a little monkey that I think I like so I elaborated bit.

Getting closer, but this and the images above were of 2 days ago... I like this little man, but after this sketch I started over with a new shape...more to come soon.

Well, here is the new take on my space monkey. I'm a lot happier with this one’s shape, so I pushed it a bit further.

just some lil minor crits. i think it may look cool if you brought out the glass look a lil more buy adding some blues to the head color. and allow the tail to show through as well.

other than that id just ad some SOFT gradients from top to bottom of the major objects. this i think will imply a sense of depth but maintain the dominance of 2 dimensions.
