I'm probably going to go for a younger / youthful brynhildr, and done in a stylised / manga kinda way as opposed to realistic Big wings, lots of cloth etc.

First reference page, Mad props to genzoman for providing the inspiration for the overall style direction i want to take in the top left and bottom right images, mixed with some armor from sun soul of the ultimate nation, and some asmodian wings!

Now to find some Spear and Shield ref... hrmmm

Nice character choice, I love valkyrie's and the style they've got. Maybe check out some Valkyrie Profile for some more armour and weapon ideas.



Also I thought this could help with the shield, the shape at least seems like it'd fit with your character.
