    Blender Help: Camera Problems


    on the left is what appears when i press "numpad0." it shows what the camera is pointing at.
    on the right is what i get when i render. it seems to be the inside of my model.

    the last time this happened, i easily solved it by selecting the camera and pressing "ctrl+numpad0," making it the camera.

    this time, i've tried every combination of selecting either object and ctrl+numpad0, to no avail.

    it just annoys me how little things like this ruin my workflow.

    Delete the camera and try again with another camera. Sometimes this works for me. Or you could try restarting blender.

    i tried both. nada.
    also, the texture painting is really slow.

    no, it's okay, i know what you're getting at. bu i only have the one,
    in the end, i exported it and imported into a new document. :s
    i guess i'll ask here, too.

    any way to import/export uv arrangements from/to zbrush?

    me again with my blender problems.
    maybe i should change the title to "blender sucks," haha!


    unwrapping. to the right, you can see some triangles. but i have no triangles. i only have quads. this has never happened in the hundreds of times (with the ten or so models hahaha) i've tried unwrapping in blender.

    what they actually are are quads with one vert mysteriously attached to another. plus all of the verts aren't welded in the uvs. anybody have an explanation? :s

    Recalculate the Normals, looks like some of them are flipped.

    thanks for the reply, but i tried flipping the normals, but it just screwed everything up (inside out).
    so i tried making all the faces two-sided, but this is what happened.

    Dont just flip the Normals, recalculate them.

    I use a older Version of Blender, so i dont know how it works in 2.5.
    In 2.49 Space->Edit->Normals->Recalculate

    I hope this works, otherwise i have no idea (because im drunk as hell ^^).

    problem solved, and turns out you were right, as well.
    i use 2.49b, and it's ctrl+n

    i don't understand, i've been doing that ever since. )
