Di$array Thanks for the tips man,i am going to change the eyes 100%,they are too human and i don't think they fit him that much anyway. The leather texture is a mix between polypainting and handpainting. I did overlay a neutral leather texture and some dirt detailing, but all the contours on the stitches and holes is handmade.
I hope you guys like the slightly redesigned weapon and added blood/vomit and bruises.

Only crit I can come up with is the material for the straps. It feels much flatter than the materials for the leather cap and the gloves, despite (maybe my assumption) the similar materials.

Anyway, loving the skin textures and his gnarly teeth.

he's coming along fantastically. I kept seeing those lanterns turing out more of a oxydised copper, green or even jade. I think that could add some more contrast to some of his elements, a little color seperation I suppose.

    Wow I really love this.
You could maybe have one lantern slightly turned off?
The first one on what would be his right side, that might help the distraction issue and the advise of a different type of glow to them is worth a shot.

He's so dirty that golden key seems out of place to me, not a big issue at all.
Otherwise holy $h!7 this is really cool!

Guys you were right about the lanterns. I reduced their "glow" and also the light's intensity.
Dock Rock: thanks man! it mean's my exercising every day is worth it
Sinz: the key is for the chest on his back,i'll get a render with 2-3 views.
Back soon with another render! thanks for the feedback so far!

Well done. Good modelling, textures adequate, especially in the latest images.
Gloves only look to close to skin, imho, but can be mended easily, if you like to.
However, I wonder about the choice to overwork props and details that I see so often in recent 3D illustrations. Maybe that Zbrush is takin head a bit too much.
The above is not meant as a criticism, just a stating of my personal bent towards neat concept.

barriallen well i guess people like learn while working,so if i get to detail each accessory the same,i'm getting better at sculpting and texturing different kind of objects, materials. So i'd rather detail all of them while learning than wonder how to work a certain object with a general knowledge on detailing.
Here's a new and better render. MR with standard material.
I really want to thank Rafael Grassetti for the tips on lighting and render setup. I'ts a massive improvement of my old workflow!
