I think its a great piece, you really captured this worried/curious expression on his face, I can imagine him looking off in the distance for some kind of enemy.

The only thing that lets it down is the turntable - imo it would really boost the look of the piece if you just had it on a bumpy plane of grass with some plants and rocks in the background. Obviously you don't have to model and texture a lush forest behind him, but I think some kind of background would help a lot

I agree with you about the backround but my work was only focused on the character and props..
