  5. hey there! before this i couldn't decide on what god to go with. then i browse through the model and i was inspired by the gremlin. it looks really good and full of character definition. so i came up with the God of Trickery. i'll be going with Boofis.

Lots of thanks to the modeller of Boofis! And I will do my best to further define Boofis's characteristics and make the model come to life!

  8. Just saw the thread, answering to people who can't post any msges in the 3D modelling section. Should have one in Animation section too.

Anyway, I've come up with a rough storyboard!

  9. Hello guys!

Here's the skeleton I fit in. It looks good enough for the animation it's about to do.

Will be adding more poly for the mouth. God of Trickery needs to smirk once in a while so I'm definitely fitting a shot where he smiles sinisterly. Other than that it's looking good. Will need to fit in a mouth bone later.

Can't wait to see the chompers on that guy when you're done. From the storyboard it looks like his weapon scales up in a cartoon manor. Does he make small things large?

  11. Forgive my drawings DerekB. The axe does not scale. It was me trying to give it a perspective shot on the Lullabye, bringing the axe down on the screen. Sorry to disappoint you!

Here's a shot of his mouth. I did not separate his teeth. Most of the time he would not open his mouth. But when he does, it's only for an evil smile.

  12. The God of Trickery, which was the title given to a deity who was believed to be the cause of all doubts, paranoia, and mistrust. It first started as a joke. A line which people used so often and so naturally that it never bothered them.

"Don't let the God of Trickery get the best of you! Trust me"

From a casual joke, to rumor, to believes, and finally an unfortunate fact. The title strikes fear to the thoughts of humans whenever there's a question of trust. They thought they were in control, but there is always a second thought. The line they used to casually say did not make things better, but worse. Much worse.

Humans were having psychological war with each other. It was hard enough waging war with themselves. Even famous and strong Heroes were slowly affected. They started doubting each other, locking themselves away. Everyone was their own enemy. With little effort, and a lot from others, the "God of Trickery" already have the world playing in his hands.

When the Heroes were at war with one another, the Gods rose to take matters to hand. It was chaotic. That is exactly how the God of Trickery wants it to be. For the first time, he appears in his physical form. There was no need before this, but to rise up as the ultimate God, he knew mind tricks would not be enough. It's time to pull more tricks up his sleeves.. physically.
