when I was a child I thought computers were only for work so I never asked my folks to buy one but in 95 my father had to buy one because he needed to learn how to use M. office and it was a custom PC made by some random dude donīt remember about the ram size but I do remember that it had the huge capacity of 1gb in hardrive. and it came packed with lots of games like Doom, Duke nukem with all the weapons activated donīt know how, pitfall and many others, then somebody borrowed me a little game called warcraft II tides of darkness it was soo awesome I love blizzard since that day I remember we upgraded it to" windows 98 plus!" then it passed away in a sunny day of 99.RIP

  2. Mine was this lovely piece of work. I think it's still in my parents house, I should go digging for it.

After that, we bought a Tandy 1000.

Those were the days... I still remember some of my favorite games.

LOL now, but consider the positive aspect of this. Instead of relying on half-ass visuals or filler cinematics, you actually had to use your imagination to create the amazing world. It was awesome. As a teen, I was one of those AD&D geeks. I still find that nothing beats that sort of gaming. It's not as visual and is, frankly, gdamn dorky, but you get to be a kid again and enter a land of make believe. You're not constrained to some artist's vision of a world. Everybody's experience is personalized. That, imo, is what's currently missing in modern PC/console RPGs. I loved the old school use your imagination way.
