I have a problem with the Path deform modifier...
I aligned the mesh to the Path with the Path deform modifier but i get weird results...
do you know what to do about this?

My guess is the cross sections are to close together? so it's creating that bunch either delete some verts in the path or separate the cross sections more.
I hope I'm right if not we need more screens.![]()
I'm primarily a C4D user so take this with a grain of salt. To me, that's typical of a setup where you might have any of the following (or a combo):
1. CPs on the spline that aren't evenly spread out
2. Subdivision of the path spline is set to an adaptive instead of uniform tessellation
3. That ridge profile isn't repeated enough and or is being repeated from intermediate CP to intermediate CP instead of 0.0-1.0 on the path spline
Not a 3ds user, but that's my gut reaction here
Could you show us a screen shot of the path and the mesh that you are applying the modifier to by itself (before the modifier is applied)? Oh and show the pivot points of the shape and the object as well. I'll be able to tell you whats going then.
