anyway... I lost about 30 mins but re-did it in about 10...

Is that a preemptive way of saying you are not asking for opinions on it? Honestly I'm not sure you need it, I think the character would be more recognizable without it. But I suppose with the right colors on it it will be much more apparent. Right now it makes me think Army of Two, which was not a great game :lucky: .

Coming along nicely by the way, can't wait to see it all sculpted and pretty :thumb: .

Hockey mask is always cool but I have to agree that it starts to stray away from the kickass look IMO. it starts to remind me of army of two as well...also jason from friday the 13th. i dunno, just has to much of a connection with jason. i see it and thats all i can think about. up to you in the end!

SAI - thanks. I think it will be alright as well... I have a feeling most people are only seeing it as a white mask like Jason uses which it won't be of course.

I think our opinion may be a little swayed by the fact that the reference pic you posted of the hockey mask actually is Jason's mask

I won't make a definate opinion until I really see what you do with it, but right now I think it takes away too much from the character, and he ends up looking like Commando Jason, or even Casey Jones, and nothing at all like A grown-up/battle-hardened Kick Ass.

I am not specialist in 3D, but its very interesting to watch for your progress in work. I like whats going on in process, good feeling on details - charismatic character coming

Cant_cooly - thanks. I'm still torn as to weapon choice. I think I may end up with the beat sticks but slightly modified. like studded or something. this will help to further reinforce the kickass-edness.

Caldria - thanks. we'll see about the mask. I think in theory it is a good idea and I can picture it in my head which means I should be able to make it look alright.

KEDavidson - I appreciate the comments. And yes... it was Jason's mask... but really it wouldn't have mattered as people still would have associated any ol' skool hockey mask with friday the 13th... and really.. is commando Jason such a bad idea??

As far as saying it looks nothing like it.. I would agree with that at this time. It will all come together once the colour is applied.

here is an update kind of... I am playing around with the some folds.. this is only to get a feel. the final will most likely be different.

a small update. worked on the arms a bit and playing with some breathing holes in the mask. adjust some folds as well. still very rough.
