After checking out the new Fallout preview in this month’s Game informer, it would be cool if you went nuts and gave him a junkyard cyberpunk feel!

Thats a pretty good suggestion Marcus..might have to thumb some more on the train tonight. My main focus atm, is to try an do him over to fit in with UT 3...Seeing how this guy was meant for UT04, seems fitting to try and get him to match the feel of their next title.

Will be interesting to see where you go with this dude, looking forward to some concepts. Some renders of the old version in those ballerina poses would be sweet too.

It would be great if you worked in some sort of hinge for rotation going up or down. It looks as though he's going to just go in one direction horizontally the way it's reading now due to the angle. Of course unless the exhausts on the ends pivot? With that said it’s a cool concept sketch man, I can't wait to see more.

Marcus - The fins etc will be able to rotate. The pack is meant to be more for large Boost jumping as opposed to flight so it wont be overly complex...but definitely will articulate.

you know i noticed in your concept that because of it being 2d the back part looks flatter, which brings me to the idea of what if you made the back part redesigned to say a fin almost like a shark. just how it looks in the concept but on a over head view you could see its really thin with maybe 1 engine. meh just a thought, i think it would look cool. also that concept is freakin sick! keep it up!

Haha, that's how you know it's good! Concept is looking sweet man, no crits from me other than adding some headgear like you mentioned earlier. I'll be interested to see more concept or modeling...:thumb:

I'm likeing what you've got so far. My only crit is the boost pack... shouldn't the turbines be point downward more? Activated the way they are now, it would seem like his face would be slammed into the ground, lol. Other than that the concept is looking pretty sweet. Any head gear?
