3ds max adding objects to a uvw map

Hey guys, so i have a character im working on. I have the body all in one map but how would i add say a eyeball to the same map even tho its a different object?

  2. well, you can't put it in the same uv space unless it's the same object. However you can put it on a space of the uv unused by the cha, and use the same texture.

but if you really want both of the objects to share the same uv space, then combine it

If you want them to stay as different objects you can just select them both and add the unwrap UVW modifier. They will still be two separate objects when you convert them back to edit poly when you're done, but they will both seem to be on the same sheet as you are unwrapping, allowing you to be a little more precise with where everything will go and not waste any unnecessary space.
