Hey guys, so i want to model a vehicle soon and i would love to know the different stages into how to model something like this.
Is it:
high poly
low poly
unwrap
texture?
or am i completely missing something?

That's how I do it. But if it gets good results your workflow doesn't really matter.
It depends on what type of vehicle I'm modeling. For something from blueprints, I'd:
low poly cage
unwrap
SDS to high poly
sculpt in ZBrush
texture
If I don't intend on adding fine surface detail like dents or deep scratches then I can skip sculpting altogether.
For something that requires more battle damage or has missing chunks, I'd:
low poly base - don't care about detail or topology right now; just raw silhouette
crank up the poly detail in ZB and sculpt
retopo
unwrap
bake & texture
Going with a crude low poly base from the start allows me to not worry bout topology when I'm more concerned about beating the sh** out of the vehicle.
