I've never done any tutorials before so I have no idea if they're any good or not. The rest of the book is pretty awesome though.

great work kedavidson. I will try your method on a future project the sword is cool too it could give me some ideas for the weapons on my fourarm guy. Also you made a good point about seeing this were the model can't move because it would impale itself if it did. I'm gonna make sure my model is functional. I think so far the book is awesome alot of cool tricks I would say its definitely worth getting and I'm not even done it yet.

I'm digging the ZBrush Character Sculpting: Volume 1 book from 3D Total. Some cool stuff in there... I'll have to check out that Secrets book soon.
