hey im working on a likeness sculpt as well how do you set up you reference? This is great work by the way I think it looks alot like him.
Hey! I have created a .psd with face and left and I have imported this one in Zbrush, used the imagePlane tool for load my .psd in background. Nothing special.
Hey ! I have finished to retopologize his face and i have baked diffuse, normals and AO.
I have to finish his texture (hair; adding more details) and create the specular and glossiness map !

Hey Pieru you're doing a great job! Post more of your reference so it's easier to compare to your sculpt. One thing that bothers me is the scars on the right side of his face. I don't think you have the discoloration quite right on the scar tissue.
check out the scars on this guy
notice how the scar tissue has more of a red or pink hue.
and a personal side note: i find the diagonal scar over eye thing to be a bit cliche. that's just my personal taste. if you're going to do it, it would be cool to stray from the pack some how and make the scar really unique.
anyway, awesome work.
hey, thank you for tips and reference
however i haven't finished to work on it... i do what i can (1 hour at break lunch ^^)
But thank you really
up:
Moreover, i Have just 2 references: the first, above, and this one:

He is looking really good anything I could think of to say, I would feel like it would be nit picking. He is really looking a lot like the reference so I say so far so good.
If I did have to say something it is his hair line. you still have some skin tone textures where his hair starts. So it looks like his skin is part of his hair but then again it is really minor so yeah.
Though I am curious how you painted on the textures for his skin though they are looking really good.
Demidusk: Yeap i know about hair's roots, i did them with polypaint and miss
anyway, thanks for feedback.
Caucasian head version finished !
So i'va started the african head version:
