Modeling from a perspective image reference

    Hello.
I want to modeling something like that.
What tips can you give me about camera setup to keep closer to the image reference and to fit all objects in their proper places?...

I made a first step and set front camera to a non ortographic view.

    sketchup?

i think you've already got some good techniques listed there. I think your best bet is to figure out the perspective on the pic, then work out basic cubes for the major landmarks and line them up in perspective view against the image.
Figuring out relative building sizes would be pretty important as well i imagine (perspective grid would help with this).
Might be an idea to try drawing out a top view of the scene as well if you can.

tbh i'd probably put in some cubes that roughly represent the ref image and just wing it but that might just be me :P

    good luck with it
