Unfortunately for me I thought I've uploaded mine last week but

It was a fun ride still

Thx for the clarification joe. I'm really proud and enough for me i can put my entry include in the list of entire entry. To make on top 7 it'snot easy.

Oh man... this is the biggest 2d and 3d mini comp ever held at GameArtisans history. Coming with 44 entries for 2d section and 53 entries for 3d section??!!!

For myself, it's going to be crazy. Able to finish 2 concept arts (but i only submitted the 2nd one) and 1 3d art in 2 weeks for both Death Knight Contest.
I need some rest after this comp.

Thx a lot to all members that helped and gave me advise, so i can finish it on time. I learn much from this comp.
    Especiall thx to David79.
Also to dwintbop that showed, gave me spirit/motivation for your 2 madness artwork posted here. :thumb:
That make me to try make the 2nd concept.

    Sorry talk to much.

I can't help but guess the best technical/conceptual/composition/color wise entry won't place well because it's a popular vote ;(

Anyways, amazing entries overall this was a very exciting competition, never thought I'd have to restart a painting from scratch to stand a chance, LOVE it! Too bad I failed the deadline (: or ....actually no that's perfect, no WoW for me!

    Thank god.

    Congrats guys!!

Good luck to all. This was a hell of fun. I hope they do another just as amazing concept as this one, so whoever did not make it in time for this mini comp, could have another chance to show their talents and skills.

umm anyone who wants to show their talents can just simply post their own thread ;o

The artist's attitude really shouldn't affect the votes, we are voting for the art piece not the artist right? I dont even look at the names of the artists when I vote, but then again I know who they are since I've been reading the wip thread daily -.-

Anyway, I enjoy voting on the concept minis much more than the 3d minis. Concepts look so much prettier Would be great to get 1680x1050 versions of some of these, I'm needing a new desktop background !

Wow themed, Wow look gets Wow votes, that's pretty much it, can't argue with that. but then there's always a chance that some originality and innovation may edge out the competition. That's optimism! LOL Really awesome entries and more love goes to those who didn't make the deadline, would've wanted to see them finished In hindsight, best mini so far, lots of competition, just forces the juices flowing. Keep em' coming!

Wonderful job by everyone, some really inspiring work all around!

    Going back to Yozora's point:
As for voting criteria, everyone of course has their own... but I myself don't see anything wrong with holding participants accountable for their behavior in the forum threads. We've discussed this in the past in other Challenges, even as recently as the last one: In that case, the topic of discussion was "surprise entries," people who don't participate in the forums and WIPs at all, and then just submit a final. People who only care about the final image will vote for those entries regardless. Others who care more about process as well as a final image - and I count myself in the latter group - might be less inclined to vote for someone who missed the spirit of the Challenge by not taking part in the work-in-progress thread. I might opine that the same goes for others who miss the constructive spirit of the challenges in other ways...
but in the end, we all vote for who we want in our own subjective take on the criteria and it all balances out!

One point I CAN agree on with Yozora is the desire to see a lot of these made into nice hi-res desktops. I don't like singling out names so everyone should just do it. Especially the good ones!

    Anyhow, great work, all!

    Well said Walrus!

    - I gotta say I was a little disappointed to not see any entries from you though. I'm just a huge fan of your work, and wanted to see your take on the Death Knight.

Great job to everyone who submitted on time!

Thank you! Sorry, I was just too busy to take part in either challenge, as fun as they would have been. Between work, a side job doing concept art for an unannounced game, a new illustration Challenge over at CGTalk, holiday cards to illustrate, and life in general, there just isn't enough time in the day... especially for a prize I really didn't want to win! (If I got hooked on WoW, I'd never have time for ANY challenges!)
