    Looking forward to this!

I think I want to go for something cyberpunk for this challenge - I've been meaning to have a go at something in that setting for a while now.

Loved your concept for the Comicon and love it here as well. Can't wait to see how you translate cyber punk!

    Thanks!

Done a bit of work on this - still fairly early generic costume design, as I progress I'll try to add some distinctive features and a bit more of that cyber-punk vibe.

Had a live digital painting demo at my local gallery today to co-incide with a comics-themed exhibition they have on at that minute, so as my character here is plausible super-heroic, got 5 hours work in on her. The downside is I wasn't on my normal PC so the colours are a bit different - if someone could let me know if these look better or worse colour wise than the last picture it would be much appreciated, as would any crits!

Will probably ditch the rear grappling hook thing or add it to the front of the weapon - puts the picture off balance where it is.

The bionicle arm looks really cool, as does the blue futuristic glows. Great start!
    Thanks

Tried a few quick and very rough paintovers of what I got so far to try out some alternate design features.

I think the most I think I like a bit of a mix of the features from these - the sash, the darker leggings, the lower right arm cybernetic only, the shorter spear, the jacket pouches and the hoodie... but once I've worked all those features into one design I'll do another round of paintovers for further things.

Loving the pose on your 2D design. The progress on your character is great. Would definitely love to see more!

I've had to submit a little early as I'm away for the next few days, but I'm fairly pleased with the result!

Also, just to note that the current submission linked to a "Four Horsemen" challenge, but as I couldn't see another option, I just submitted it there anyway.
