So can we do charcters from games made by square enix. Even if they are not created by Square Enix staff?

E.g could I do Alphonse from FMA. Hes not a Square Enix character but is in a game released by SE?

All Pixar's films were released by Disney and Disney now runs Pixar (or is that the other way around?) so I suspect it's legal. After all, didn't Jack Skellington appear in a KH? That wasn't created by Disney but they own the rights to it now.

Never played the game but I've bumped into some of the artwork here and there, think some of it's pretty cool.
I'm busy with other things at the mo but I've been wanting to have a bash at Vivi for a while now, so I'll see how things go. Looking forward to watching the competition whatever, Sackboys was so much fun and a real learning experiance.

Edit: On second thought I loved Vincent Valentine in Advent Children and on Wiki it says that Tetsuya Nomura wanted to see Vincent in Kingdom Hearts but opted instead for a Vincentesque Cloud.

And on third thought maybe I'll be inspired and do something original
