ive seen android jones work and his tablet has a sound oscillator on it or something.

anyone know of a program that will let you like map sounds to regions like i guess this program does (in the link)? it would be fun to have that working while i work. come up with music on my tablet while in photoshop or something. would be a lot of fun.

I've got to imagine that the response times and input for tablets would be way different than other on/off analog devices like knobs, switches, or button keyboards. On a tablet like a Cintiq especially. The tip movement to tracking response ratio isn't 1:1. Close enough for most people, but not enough for ultra precision or rapid motions. That's part of why a program like ZB makes use of lazy mouse interpolation.

It'd be nice to use a tablet like a Cintiq as a virtual piano/synthesizer though. THAT I'd probably like to play with. Sounds fun. (Yeah. I know lots of tracking apps exist. It just occurred to me to try it. )
