Ubisoft Entertainment presents Do's and Don'ts of Portfolios and Interviews. For one extraordinary evening, Mohamed Gambouz and Frederic Ressair from Montreal's premier game studio, Ubisoft Entertainment, will dive into the mysteries behind Portfolios and Interviews - two ultra important requirements to land a job in Games. Learn industry secrets that help prevent your art portfolio submissions from being shredded, recycled, and trashed. Once portfolio tips are revealed, the evening continues with realtime demo interviews that highlight the proper etiquette for these stressful yet necessary sessions.

As many of you know, Game Artisans Workshop is here for Montreal student and pro Artists. We have sketchgroups, portfolio reviews, Master Workshops, Intro 3D courses, Show & Tells, and soon, 3D Weekend Jams. Now, we would like to invite you for this special evening that promises to help your future endeavors in Games. Come join us on Thursday, June 2nd, from 6:30 to 8:30pm, for a fun, social, and informative event!

Mohamed Gambouz, from the distant shores of Casablanca, Morocco, began his journey in games with a Visual Arts program in a Technical School in Casablanca. During his studies, he worked with friends to create demos for Action/RPG games on Amiga 500. In 1998, he was just 17 years old when he joined the ranks of Ubisoft Casablanca. Herein, he took his first steps as a Character Animator and later took flight as an Artistic Director for a Disney License. Since then, Mohamed has worked on major titles like "Rayman 3, Beyond Good and Evil, Prince off Persia: The Sands Of Time, Prince off Persia 3, Assassin's Creed 1 & 2" and "Assassin's Creed Brotherhood" as a Senior Level Artist and finally as an Artistic Director. To this day, Mohamed remains fascinated by video games, arts in general, traveling and discovering new cultures and places around the world.
